Splash of heaven in Tomini Gulf

Almost 24 hours trip from manado to this gulf, what for?
There is rumour that this gulf owned a really great archipelago and a great barrier reef.

And i found out more about this archipelago : The largest Indonesian Marine Park, 4,4 million Ha, with 262 Corals species, almost 600 Species of Fish, 555 molusca, and more endemic species such as Dugong, Sea Turtle, pilot whale, etc..WOW..



And i think why not?

Togean archipelago offer a lot of diving site, a great landscape, a green turquoise water, and white beach. Kadidiri island seems to be best option for base camp to explore this archipelago.

There is three resort option in kadidiri (sort from the cheapest)

3. Kadidiri Paradise Resort

And also a lot of homestay and resort spreaded all over the islands.



Diving is also incredibble, they have a barrier reef length almost 7 km, B24 Bomber Wreck, Wall, Coral Garden, Macro site and great school of barracuda and jack fish.

A great escape from your routinity days, and a cheaper option than Derawan, Komodo or Raja Ampat. However the Togeans offers one of finest diving in Indonesia. 4th below R4, Derawan, Bunaken.

You can visit this archipelago from Gorontalo (ferry leaves tuesday and friday night) or Ampana (daily ferry).

Lembeh Strait

Lembeh strait is the muck diving capital in the world, name it "the World no.1".
Located in North Celebes, is easy to access, and offer a really good macro diving. THe best and strange fish and animals in the water.

Manado is a beautiful beach city, with an amazing Bunaken, Lembeh strait and Minahasa Highlands. This city offer a perfect place to have a wonderful vacation, for a ocean lover specially.

School of life part 15 : Diving

Living when bunaken around is really awesome..it's legendary..First before you could enjoy underwater you should prepared with licence (discovery is not awesome..), many institution offer diving licence, such as POSSI CMAS, PADI, SSI, ADSI, and many more..the price range offered is different. You can learn in Navy too..its free if you join the squad.
Basicly Diving licence is divided into classes :

1. Open water diver
2. Advanced diver
3. Rescue diver
4. Dive master

Just like in school, but this time you are fish schooling.

In manado you can contact local dive center, they will explain you more about the course. If you wan't the cheaper one, you should try Possi cmas, ask for the coach in Jaya Dive, located at Jl Sam Ratulangi, before Gramedia. In bunaken each dive resort offer the course from 300 Euro to 400 euro for Open Water diver. For SSI they offer 200 -300 Euro. Why in Euro?yeah it's sucks when local people have to face foreign money in their own country.

Maybe just like any outdoor activity, here's my word :

Never dive alone, touch nothing, leave nothing, and kill nothing.

Coz the corals are living organism. Love it, its legendary..
